I really like this tempo for the piece - it offers up a lot of options - both delicate and triumphant - and really - this is a very triumphant theme (apologies for yesterday's image!)

This morning's session actually clocked in at over 14 minutes and started to incorporate the different developments over the last week - the piece is really starting to take shape and I'm looking forward to adding some other voices later on. I'm thinking that 71 bpm might be the perfect tempo - nice and calming and yet slightly faster than resting heart rate - tomorrow should be fun.
