Bryan Ingram - A Review

One of music2work2''s  MySpace friends is Bryan Ingram, composer, performer and producer of Rock/Pop/Alternative music.

He is said to have "conducted symphonies" by Bach, Beethoven, etc. in the living room of his home, as a 3 year old, following this by then playing the same music on the piano by ear.  He studied classical piano from the age of 4 until his teens, and then studied jazz piano.

There are five sample songs on Ingram's MySpace page.  The tunes are melodic; Bryan Ingram's voice is clear and pleasant.  Only one of the songs is instrumental, "Celeres;" it has a whole different sound to it from the other songs.

Listening to Bryan Ingram's music is an enjoyable experience.  I liked all of the songs but my favorite is "In the Air."  Even though the clip was short, I really liked the music in this one.

Ingram has also written music for a variety of television commercials and shows.  His debut EP release "Be That As It May" is available now.

If you like rock music, check him out!

Dave Kilminster

Dave Kilminster's solo rock album, Scarlet, was written, sung and performed by Dave himself. He was joined by some other musicians and vocal backup. A well-known guitarist, Dave was namedGuitarist Magazine's 1991 Guitarist of the Year.

Of the four songs available to hear on Dave Kilminster's MySpace page, my favorite is "Aragon." It clearly demonstrates his skill and expertise in playing the guitar. It is an instrumental piece; the other three are vocals. They are really great songs also; Dave's voice is clear and pleasant and the melodies are lovely. The harmony on the vocals is terrific also. I particularly like "Rain" out of the other three songs.

Dave Kilminster is from the U.K. and receives rave reviews for his enthusiasm, technical mastery, and unusual techniques.

Michael Roth - rothmusik

Michael Roth - rothmusik, one of our MySpace friends, is based in Los Angeles, California. The music you can hear on his MySpace page is different from that of most of our other friends in that all the pieces except one are vocals; Michael Roth composed the music for each of them. Michael Roth has an impressive list of credits - projects he has worked on and artists he has worked with. He is a composer, musician, sound designer, and pianist.

Of the four songs on his MySpace page, Then They Move On is my favorite. The music is really lovely. I do not know who the vocalist is, but she has a very pleasant voice also. It is a song from the soundtrack of a motion picture, Holy Days. I like the music so well that I think I'll have to try to find the movie and watch it.
