Michael Nyman is not only one of our MySpace friends, but also an influence of music2work2. music2work2 sessions are often compared to his music. Michael Nyman's music is in the classical genre. Of the four selections available on his MySpace page, two are vocal pieces, two instrumental. I especially like the instrumental pieces, "Chasing Sheep" being my favorite. It has an almost regal sound about it. This piece reminds me of music2work2's Arrival in that they both evoke the image of the heralding of a great event.
