200,000 views on YouTube

This weekend saw quite a milestone for music2work2 as we blew past 200,000 video views on YouTube - wow!

Charlotte and I wish to say thank you to everyone who listened, liked, commented or sent us messages - we appreciate every single one of you.

We're in the process of re-vamping everything: new visuals, new playlists, new partnerships etc, we've still got a few things to iron out but should be ready to go in the next week or so.

Music to talk it out to

I don’t know about you but the last month or so has been pretty grim; I’m hoping and praying that we’re coming out the other end – it does feel so.

It’s funny when you’re down & depressed – I personally tend to shut myself away and stop interacting with people – which feels like a good short term strategy but is a horrible path to stay on as it eventually becomes a self-fulfilling downward cycle.

Even though the self-loathing makes it hard to be around other people, actually talking to someone about “it” makes a huge difference. This piece of music was written for that exact purpose – in fact – I was talking as I was playing.

So – here it is – 20 minutes of soft, calming piano music to have on in the background while you cathartically expel your bullshit.

Enjoy!

Going Nowhere...

This is the opening of a new piece called Going Nowhere - I'm writing for Violin, Viola and Cello - and while it's not right yet - it's an indication of where I'm going. This is rough straight out of reason - no mixing - I'll be developing this alongside Frustration 2 and Moments of Perfection.
