Coyote - Blues Intro 2

The next m2w2 track is a blues piece - and for some reason it keeps bleeding into this track - but I do kinda like how it sets up the 108 bpm groove

As for the actual Coyote piece - I'm on version "god knows what" and mix 13 - but it's def getting there!

The blues is a great way to warm up into a piece - regardless of what the overall vibe might be - there's nothing like setting the click - imagining a whole band of 70 year old dudes from the South sitting behind you - closing your eyes and just going with it...

Funky Ass Week Again

It is so tempting to write about the creative process - suffice to say:

• This piece came about after abandoning the approach I had used for 4 weeks
• It still took me several takes to get there
• In making this leap I also made several other connections at the same time
• I was kinda depressed throughout the process as I was worried I wouldn't "get there"
