Norma Theme Development 127 BPM | Periscope

Back from Scotland and looking to get into a creative period.  Combining new piano with Periscope to focus on publishing more music and I think this might actually work!

I'm really digging this theme at 127 bpm, I like it in 6 and when my chops are back up I think a section in 4 time is gonna add a nice amount of energy.  I'm working on The Bench at the same time and they work very well together - not unsurprisingly!

The Bench - 163 bpm - Periscope Development

It's been a tough 4 months:

• My Dad died
• I moved from PC to the Mac
• Learned two new DAWs: Ardour and Digital Performer
• Charlotte was "hors de combat" for most of it
• Got a brand new Yamaha NU1 piano

I guess in retrospect it isn't surprising that we had a "hitch" in our "giddyup!"

Still - here's a new theme development.  The video is taken from a recent periscope session.
