Moments of Perfection - Out Theme

Was working on the core MOP theme yesterday and this popped out at the end. I dig it, it has that simple ascending movement to it - ultimately hopeful and delicate - it lives really nicely at 113 bpm which is where the main energetic theme is at as well.

I can see this being used at the end of the piece when everything has calmed down and you want a little bit of hope to leave the theater with...

SAmi is still playing with the imagery for the front of the piece - he's swapped out the spooky church for a statue of Venus - which I think makes a lot of sense when you consider the greater theme of the movie.

The Washington Influence Industry | Music to Edit to

We've had a couple of documentarians staying with us over the last week: Terry and Sam are making a film about political corruption and the corporate takeover of democracy in America. You can find out more about the movie here:

They'd been on the road for 15 months, interviewing people like Ralph Nader and Jack Abramoff, and were at the point where they had to condense their 80+ hours of footage into a compelling trailer. It was fascinating to watch them work -- and they did work their asses off.

One night they were editing the text and I was sitting playing in the background; this was the result. I'm calling it music to edit to; it's a combination of blues chords and the development of the forthcoming "Moments of Perfection" animated movie.

Enjoy!
