We’re adding milestones to the Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/music2work2 – basically we’re going back through the last 6 years of music2work2 and pulling out some of the major events – it’s fascinating to see what was going on.
It’s interesting to track how themes develop over the years – this is a version of the recently published Wendi theme from back in July 2010. I love the opening bars – apparently I hadn’t played in a while and getting this out was a huge cathartic release. I ended up writing about the creative process which you can read here.
We’ll be publishing more of these long form track developments on YouTube as they really good music to work to.

So we have the male theme written in 3 time and the female theme in 7 – the trick is going to be finding a way to blend the two themes together and preferably in 5 time!
This is a theme that came out yesterday and I started to develop it this morning – it’s a classic walk up the octave but in 5 time it has a sense of playful urgency that I think we can grow as we develop out of flirtation into heavy exertion!
