Coyote - Lullaby Development

Further development of the Coyote theme this weekend threw up this charming little lullaby development - needs work but I think it is going to sound fabulous with a couple of string patches underneath it.

This set of developments all worked around 108, 109 and 107 Bpms - 108reflects the numbers I'm actually working with but 107 and 109 are both prime and as you probably know - I love prime numbers!

Final piano track this week and strings by the weekend - hope to have this posted and out a week today.

Mars Lasar - "Amy's Lullaby"

"Amy's Lullaby" by Mars Lasar, as the name might suggest, is a very sweet song. It is piano driven and has a lovely melody. It is calming and soothing.

The sound of the music box brings back memories of one that was given to me as a child. I loved to play it over and over. When the box lid was opened, the movement or mechanism of the music box was revealed. I watched the cylinder go round and round as the notes emanated from the little metal pieces striking the cylinder. I was fascinated that such pretty music came from this little wooden box. I think the song it played was "Fur Elise."

Mars Lasar is another musician Last.fm lists as being similar to music2work2. In fact, this particular song reminds me of music2work2’s “Vincent.” Two very pretty songs that can calm and sooth the listener, regardless of age.
