Wishes & Lies - July 2013 - Music to create flow

The third track from the July 2013 playlist, Wishes & Lies takes us back to the original C minor theme. This time played on the click at 97 bpm I've cut it with the ocean track and it still sounds pretty good.

We're experimenting with visuals and I'm loving how the color palette works with the blue grey of Kylie's imagery and the ocean surf - cool stuff and fairly mesmerizing - which I guess is the point of it all...

Insanity - July 2013 - Music to create flow

So just as I'm getting to grips with the whole C Minor theme - out pops Norma - shocker!!!

Recorded on the evening of the 6th of July, this version is not tracked to the click and as a result - the ocean tide seems to work very well with it. But halfway through the whole thing segues into Norma's theme - which clearly wants to be developed too.

I'm digging the whole idea of using the natural sounds in with the music - I suspect there's more of this to come...
