Wendi mix 4 - Transition

OK - got another 3 minutes of the track - again this is more about the string performance than the overall layering and full mix - but the piece is now really taking shape

I'm thinking I might want to go back in and get the top string part again - but we'll see - as I was recently reminded - sometimes you've just got to publish and get it out there - otherwise you're liable to spend a lifetime picking at it and trying to make it perfect - sometimes good enough is good enough - we'll see.

Wendi - mix 3 - first 10 minutes

Finally - I can see the light at the end of the tunnel - and no - it isn't a train this time. Here's the first ten minutes - the strings need a little more work - not in performance but in doubling, shaping etc etc - but I'm pretty stoked. I reckon we should be in position to publish next week some time - depending on how the rest of the mix goes.

Wendi theme transition with correct piano track

Hurrah! - Finally managed to get a piano performance that I'm stoked about - so - we're in the home stretch. I'm playing around with the strings at the moment - I've got a few good tracks but there's still some room for improvement. Over the coming weeks I will be playing with the mix and adding additional strings to flesh out the feel of the piece.

I'm really starting to love how this theme transition is beginning to sound - this isn't quite right but there's 4 separate string tracks here and they're really beginning to gel
