Frustration 2 - Final Piano Track

Edit April 14 - that wasn't the final track - it could have been but it wasn't "quite" right and anyway - the core file got lost in the hard drive failure - so I'm guessing - it wasn't the final track after all...

After a few weeks of hacking it out - here is the final piano track for Frustration 2. We'll be adding strings etc over the next few weeks - but I do like how this has progressed since the beginning of the year.

We're also enjoying the instant feedback from YouTube - this picked up 250 views in the first 24 hours which bodes well for the completed track.

Piano Development in 71 BPM

I have been writing a number of documents recently and been listening to some early theme developments from back in 2009. I don't think I ever worked this theme up but I kinda wish I had. Clocking in at 6 and half minutes - I'm digging this a lot.

I haven't played in ages - it's a very scary thing sometimes.

Tonight I asked Wendi for a number between 45 and 200 - she came up with 163 - I plugged that into the metronome and got to work on her G minor theme. I really love this piece - there are a couple of clams and the end still needs work but it's getting there. I recorded a couple of string tracks from the Roland but they're just not going to work - need to get my head round Reason and MIDI - always something new to learn.
