I wrote a hymn once - my Dad liked it.

He was a chorister - like my brother, like me.  

This is the cathedral he sang in as a boy - the same cathedral in which, as a man, he would later marry my mother.

I work on the theme every year, around his birthday - the joke being that we would play it at his funeral.

Funny thing is,  I didn't work on it this year - I totally avoided it - and now - with him gone, I'm second guessing everything.
