This is what comes from working too many weekends.  The piece is in 83 beats per minute – a prime number and also the first digits of the office address where my wife has recently been spending her weekends.  It’s just a fact of life – I don’t know any professional couple who don’t work some weekends – and of course there is the direct relationship between weekends worked and stake in the game!

Still – having said all that – I still aspire to the utopian ideal of the weekend break – it works best for me – if I do too many weekends – my performance decreases over time and in this business – you have to have huge stamina!

So – this piece is for those of us who “work” weekends.

I’m beginning to get the hang of my new set up – and starting to experiment with more tones – working with 4 voices rather than 1 or 2.  The trick I think at this level is editing!!! ;-)
